Durnstein, Austria

Situated among Austria’s most famous vines, the small but beautiful town of Dürnstein and known as the “Pearl of the Wachau”. I photographed the blue baroque church spire while cruising the Danube. The town gained its name from the medieval Dürnstein castle seen on the hill.
